IN BETWEEN TWO WORLDS - DŽBÁN PARK

The idea behind the design was to create an entrance to the territory of Džbán, that would have a strong presence in its surroundings. The concept of the entrance solution includes three elements: a gateway that represents the entrance to a significant territory, an interface that emphasizes the transition from the urban environment into the landscape, and the views from the entrance and the European Street to Džbán lake. Programmatically, the design includes a pass-through building on entrance, a park area with seating elements and a children's playground, a red line - an urban element that runs through the entire design of the area, and an extension of the sidewalk along with a cycle path and green belt.
