HOUSING LIBEŇ

Libeň - the end of the world, the end of the city, the end of Prague... or not? No! I am designing 8 apartment buildings arranged in a palm leaf pattern, building on and onto the existing block development to take the end of the city beyond the Rokytka river and the railroad viaduct that run north and east of the site. Workshops and works are not lacking either. I take advantage of the sloped terrain and propose the notoriously familiar garage spaces used more as workshops, studios or cafes. Underground parking, retail and workshops on the ground floor, apartments on the upper floors, the top floor there are community apartments and studios. The flats have both - a winter garden and a balcony. There is also a seating on the staircase by the bank of the Rokytka river under the viaduct.
