Exhibition of Studio Projects

Annotation

Broumov, a town that combines original industrial buildings with a distinctive landscape character, unfortunately cannot sell its potential sufficiently in its current state. The town itself is now divided into three distinct parts - the historic centre, bounded by the original moat, the industrial quarter and the surrounding, more loose buildings. The first aim of the project was to rebuild the walled belt, but at the same time to allow the centre to permeate. The second task was to redefine the main entrances to the city - the Broumov Gate. In the design, there is an added development that makes the current open space more welcoming, creating a kind of filter for the entrance to the historic centre.
