Field chapel

Place Dirt road. An inconspicuous turn on Rožmitálská cesta. A short walk to a place with a view of Broumov, Ruprechtický Špičák and Javoří mountains. Form The inspiration for the design was the torment of God as a "totem" in the landscape, a place to stop. Inspiration from purely religious small architecture creates a place for stopping, sitting, self-awareness, connection with the earth. A simple object, it functions as a seating area, where one can sit in a niche and is protected on three sides. Material The inspiration for the material solution was the place itself. Around the field full of clay, with a distinct red color, why not use it. Clay as a local and common material, in a contrasting form to the landscape.
