PROSTUPNÝ HLAVÁK

I started with an inhospitable highway and transformed it into Wilson Boulevard, lined with trees. Thanks to the narrowing of the road to only four lanes, a corridor of active parterres was born without unnecessary transit traffic. I am restoring the defunct tram line in the street, which further connects to the planned route in the upper part of Wenceslas Square. My second intention is the revitalization of Vrchlické orchards. I reduce them by socially uncontrollable zones. Last but not least, I propose a multi-functional building, typologically similar to a city palace, which takes over commercial functions, preventing the smooth operation of the station. A single-purpose building thus becomes a representative transport hub with spaces for offices, housing and outdoor sports fields.
