INheapLATER - CURIOSITY

Annotation
The proposed path seems aimless, meandering between multi-stemmed trees and inviting to explore. It follows a gently undulating terrain, where leaf shadows flicker across the ground. Like a river, it shortens its way and shifts material as people cross its edges and the gravel washes away in places. A staircase on the eastern slope offers views—some toward Kladno’s historic center, others toward its brownfield. Materials used for viewpoints and railings vary by location, reflecting the city’s diverse urban structures. The design as a whole responds to the lack of functional public spaces. Visitors must find these places themselves—the stairs are not directly connected to the main path, and the winding line joins it only once, forming intimate spaces for individuals and groups.
