Unitarian Community Center with Transitional Housing for Parents with Children

Annotation
The assignment was to design a monastery. Instead of a traditional monastic setting, I chose to reinterpret the spiritual and communal dimension in a contemporary way, drawing on the values of the Unitarian religious community — openness, equality, and social justice. The result is a Unitarian center with a social role, providing transitional housing for parents with children.
In this way, the Unitarian center becomes a modern interpretation of a monastery — a place of support, spiritual freedom, and coexistence. The architecture emphasizes a balance between privacy and opportunities for sharing.
