FAMILY HOUSE WITH BIKESHOP

The family house with a bikeshop is situated in the middle of the proposed residential complex. The bicycle service, as an added function, uses the predominant part of the ground floor, where it makes contact with the public space. Residential spaces are picked up to the first and second floor, thus promoting a more private and comfortable living space. The two-storey living space is south-facing and visually connects with the orchard through generous glazing. All floors are connected by a lift, which allows the house to be used by people with reduced mobility. First floor is wheelchair accessible. The massing concept is based on inscribing parts of the interior into the facades, disrupting the otherwise relatively calm spatial structure of the facades in the ensemble.
