Zlíchov monastery

Annotation
In my design, I adhered to the unique shape of Zlíchovský hill, which also influenced the orientation of the church of St. Philip and Adalbert - its altar faces north, as opposed to the usual western orientation. At the same time, I did not want to disturb the panorama from the other bank of the Vltava too much.
The shape of the mass itself was inspired by the contour lines of the terrain. I decided to place the more private part of the monastery with the dormitory on a slope so as not to disturb the already mentioned view. The upper floor, oriented according to the contour line, is placed on the lower floor. The order I chose - the Salesians of Don Bosco - is not bound to a closed paradise courtyard or a cloister, which I decided not to build due to the nature of the land.
