BALLERINA / PERFECTIONISM

The theme of this semester allowed us to express ourselves or our passion. My theme is perfectionism, which is a fairly common obsession. However, the main task for me was to play with contrasts, which are the opposites of one process: searching for shortcomings and striving for the ideal, which I embodied by playing with the atmosphere. The main character of the idea was a ballerina. Her public space and work space are thus united by the space of the hall. The contrast to the high, wide space with minimal rays of light is created by communication - a narrow, dynamic space, completely open to the eyes of passers-by. The ovality of the building's outline is a hint of the golden ratio, which then helps to emphasize the fluidity and grace of the dance.
