The Core of Petřiny

The renovation of a building in the heart of Petřiny has transformed the original structure into a vibrant social center of this urban district. My work had a significant impact on the transformation of the first two floors, which now serve as an open community center connecting generations and lifestyles. A modern fitness area was created to support an active lifestyle, along with a community dining room offering meals and informal gathering space, and a study room for focused work or learning. All of these elements are connected by an airy atrium that naturally encourages spending time, relaxing, and making social connections. Newly added student apartments complement the building’s role as a base for everyday life, as well as for community events, workshops, and cultural programs.
