The Larch Propeller

The family house in Vranov nad Dyjí is part of a modern residential development situated below Ptačí vrch. Designed in a minimalist and contemporary style, the building is divided into three terraced levels that naturally follow the sloping terrain. The entrance level contains a law office, which is separated from the residential part located on the two lower floors. The façade is made of repeating larch wood boards and large-format windows, allowing for maximum integration between the interior and the surrounding landscape. The overall shape of the house resembles a propeller, making it a distinctive architectural form.
