Functionality is not enough! The House for Artists interprets the local context, solidity and grandeur of the houses orbiting the castle Hvězda. The idea of the solitaire offers the natural development of the house, it selects significant spatial points that connect with the crooked roof into a whole. The house responds to the external environment freely in every direction - through a colonnade into the street, a view into the orchard, a heavy gable to the ongoing development. The expression of the house admits with some exaggeration to the archetypal elements of rural unofficial architecture.
In an effort to create free space, the purpose of the house balances between creation, presentation and living, between the performer and the viewer.
