Menhir

Design of the beehive derives from Můstek house by Alena Šrámková. Beehive for solitary bees is situated on the roof in the busy/frenetic part of Wenceslas Square. Its monumental height catches the eyes of random passers-by and it acts as a raised finger towards today's society. The beehive´s design is primarily inspired by the work and life of Šrámková which is mainly reflected in simple yet geometrically strict form.
