I designed my bee shed to fit my target environment in the Beskydy mountains. The aim of this project was to incorporate the building into the landscape without interfering with its natural character. I minimised the influence of this humble architecture by partially embedding the building under the surface of the landscape. The beekeeper serves as the hive guardian, looking over the hives from his work space. I consider the phenomenal window in the frontage as the key aspect in context of the whole building, blending the interior with the mountain grassland.
