VISITOR CENTER -TERRACEA

TERRACEA = The name comes from the Latin words “terra” (earth) and “terrace,” symbolizing the connection between the building and the landscape. The design of the visitor center is inspired by the geological history and natural processes of the area. My conceptual design focuses on integrating nature and referencing the volcanic activity that shaped the local terrain. The building is designed with multifunctionality in mind; it serves as both an information and educational center, where visitors can learn about the area’s history, and as a recreational space that includes a café and outdoor terraces. The aim of the design is to create a harmonious connection between people and the landscape, and offering visitors an exceptional experience.
