Research and development of the interactive and platform services for the interactive digital TV broadcast

nangu.TV is established IPTV and VoD platform, which is used by a broad spectrum of service providers. Proposed project covers three areas which are key for the further development and addoption of the platform. The main topics are usability of user interfaces by specific target groups (e.g. seniors), research on the field of behavioral modelling of the end-users for providing accurate suggestions of the relevant content and distributed monitoring of the quality of the delivered signal by using STB as measurement end-points. Project deliverables are recommendations for application and user interface implementation, algorithm proposals, application prototypes and applications.
