Support of PhD. thesis with sources from repositories in the Czech republic and abroad (mainly Bulgaria) and documenting of buildings of the Czech authors in Bulgaria

This grant will serve to adding and deepening of the gained particularly bibliographical results from the research of the life, work, action and buildings of the Czech architects, engineers, technicians and artists in Bulgaria in the field of the architecture, city planning and civil engineering in the period of 1878-1920 with archival and documentary sources. On the base of gained documents will be created a more objective picture of cultural phenomenon of the arrival and work of Czech specialists in Bulgaria and a clearer presentation of their work. The research is focused on getting copies of original drawings of buildings of Czech authors, as well as period photographs of the buildings and portraits of the authors. Important part of PhD. thesis will be documenting of survived buildings in different Bulgarian cities.
