Information about adjusting the academic year calendar

In the context of the government's emergency measure restricting the movement of people, the following adjustment is made to the academic calendar. Read the information addressed to all teachers and students by the Vice-dean for Education, Prof. Irena Šestáková.

Dear all,

due to the government's emergency action taken (since 1. 3 to 21. 3. 2021) it prohibits all persons from leaving the district or city of Prague on whose territory they are resident or resident, the Schedule for the summer semester AY 2020-21 has been adapted in several points:

1. the deadline for examination of subjects enrolled in ZS 2020/21 is moved to 1. 4. 2021. Written exam dates (if those dates are of interest to students) are not changed or will be replaced by later ones. Examination dates are decided by the subject's guarantor or the examining teacher. If the tests take place within period 1. 3 - 21. 3. 2021 and enrolled students will arrive from another district, the guarantor or examining teacher of the relevant subject will issue a certificate of attendance to the student through the secretariat of their department,

2. the state exams of master's degree will take place in the advertised terms in a semi-distant form (chairman + secretary + student attending at school, other members of the board via MS Teams),

3. the defence of the bachelor's projects will take place in term 8. 4. 2021 in a semi-distance form (chairman + secretary + student attending at school, other members of the board via MS Teams).

It remains the case that teaching is conducted remotely. Only students who are enrolled for an exam, a state exam or take a state final exam (BP's defence) are allowed to enter school. On entering the building, students must show a negative antigenic test no more than 72 hours old. In justified cases, students may be tested directly at the faculty with tests available to the university in limited quantities.

All the best and stay healthy.
