The opening of the exhibition will take place on 18 October 2021 at 6 pm and will be accompanied by an exhibition of posters by students of Tereza Melenová's graphic design course, promoting bilateral trips outside Europe. This will be followed by an information session on Erasmus Exchange 2022/2023 trips at 6.30 p.m. in room 152–153. Both exhibitions will be on display until 31 October 2021.
In 2020/2021, our students were able to complete Erasmus in 21 countries under 58 agreements, while the bilateral agreement is usually completed by architecture students in 12 non-European countries under 15 proven rectorate agreements. However, the impact of the covid-19 pandemic on outgoing and incoming student numbers has been noticeable.
In 2020/2021, only 28 students went under the Erasmus+ programme, while only 3 students went under bilateral agreements. The number of incoming international students was coincidentally the same, with 32 students arriving from Europe alone. Thus, there were 50 percent fewer students than in previous academic years and an even more noticeable drop in the number of incoming students, with only a third of the usual number of students arriving.
In the academic year 2021/2022, the situation should turn to higher numbers of students, with an expected departure of 70 and arrival of 75 students. The application for the 2022/2023 academic year should be submitted during November and December 2021 via the Mobility application.
