Kateřina Košutová received the award for the design of the P/Residential Residence in the Xella competition

The jury consisting of Juraj Benetin (chairman), Jakub Cigler, Juraj Hantabal, Ľubomír Králík, Peter Moravčík, Imrich Pleidel, Peter Richtárik, Miroslav Stach and Lucie Štasselová selected three winners from the 56 entries and also awarded three special prizes to projects that impressed the jury with their original ideas.
The residence for the highest ranking representative of the Slovak Republic in terms of protocol should be his home and a place where he will feel comfortable and safe for the duration of the President's term of office. At the same time, it must meet the protocol and representative attributes for formal and informal meetings. It should respect the genius loci of the locality and meet the requirements of its efficiency, functionality and aesthetics.

About the competition
The next edition of the competition is currently underway, with the aim of promoting the independent creative work of university students through a competitive confrontation of architectural ideas. It offers an opportunity for reflection, creative practice, as well as feedback from leading respected professionals. At the same time, it is one of the opportunities to start a successful career. Students of architecture and civil engineering from the Czech Republic and Slovakia can apply individually or in teams to the current edition of the urban planning and landscape architecture competition entitled "Intervention – how to further Kopčany?", which aims to promote regional and cross-border tourism in the form of interventions in the urban and natural environment on the territory that breathes the history of Great Moravia and the times of Maria Theresa in the cross-border site of the Archaeopark Mikulčice – Kopčany.
