Open call for visiting head of studio

The purpose of the Visiting Professor Studio is to bring internationally renowned personalities and emerging architectural talents, current topics and new teaching methods to the Faculty and to be an inspiration and enrichment for the academic and professional community. Visiting faculty members at the Faculty of Architecture have always included renowned architects such as Juliette Bekkering, Michiel Riedijk, Mirko Baum and Vasa Perović. For the academic year 2022/23, the visiting professor is Dutch architect and urban planner Winy Maas, founder of the MVRDV studio and the research think-tank The Why Factory.
The call is open for the academic year 2023/24 with the possibility of extension, possibly for the academic year 2024/25 with the possibility of extension. The studio can be conducted in Czech or English.
Applicants can send their applications together with a structured CV, a written concept of the studio and a sample of the main works to dekan@fa.cvut.cz by 3 July 2023.
