Lecture by Prof. Dr. Laurent Stalder from ETH Zurich on Things of Modernity
The lecture shows a different, new reading of modern architecture of the last two centuries, based not on the ever-changing "heroes" and "pioneers" of architecture, nor on "key buildings", but on a number of "things" that shaped modern life: from the clock and the bed, to the toilet and the kitchen, to the radiator to the revolving door.
