SET OF FURNITURE FOR PRESCHOOL CHILDREN

The subject of this diploma project is a collection of furniture for pre-school children that consists of three pieces: chair, table and a bookcase. The decision to choose this topic was undoubtedly made due to my own experience of a parent of a child that has just reached the age of a pre-schooler. The extent of this work is, along with the amount of prototypes included, determined also by the age range of young users (2-7 years) for whom it is designed and therefore it respects their ergonomic requirements. The designed furniture should be comfortable, enhancing organization habits of children, easily cleanable, economical and creating satisfying aesthetical whole.
