LIFE CYCLE ASSESSMENT OF TEXTILE MATERIALS

"Life cycle assessement of textile materials - White T-shirt as a symbol of fast fashion and necessity in every wardorbe": is a thesis that explores the environmental impact of conventional textile materials that are widely used to make knitted T-shirts. The assessment is based on the LCA method - Life Cycle Assessment and observation of thirty users of T-shirt prototypes. The by-product of this work is the controversy over the mission of the designer in the world of relative surplus, systematic acceleration of production and the associated exploitation of natural and human resources.
