Retirement Home

The bachelor's thesis is based on a study focused on the design of a new building in the town of Velešín in the South Bohemian Region. The specific location is the parish garden near Na Humnech Street. The aim of the project is to create a new home for the elderly, which is missing in the ever-developing Velešín. The design of the home for the elderly respects the context of its surroundings. The building is made up of two masses that define the central space - the inner square - connecting key points of the plot and its surroundings. At the same time, the design preserves the original landscape character, including significant trees that are part of the design of the building.
