OTAKAROVA

I am dealing with the design of urban rental housing in the location of the Otakarova transport hub in Nusle. The proposal is a response to the current housing crisis, inefficiency of housing policy and the needs of the newly emerging local city centre. I focus on forms of housing that promote economic accessibility, spatial efficiency, variability and social inclusion. I strive to create an urban house that responds in form to the complicated situation of a plot of land in the location of a busy transport hub. The design of the house emphasizes the promotion of community life, sharing of spaces, optimization of layout, sustainability and prefabrication.
