Prague is suffering from the onslaught of growing car traffic and increasing passenger numbers. Infrastructure and transport are key factors for the development of the city. They account for the highest share of Prague's investment. With the introduction of new lines and the enrichment of public transport networks, local city centres are emerging, which need to be studied in terms of urban linkages and architecture. The subject of the diploma thesis is the solution of the completion of the city block in Nusle and the redefinition of the surroundings of the Otakarova transport node and the náměstí bratří Synků as a result of the planned construction of the Náměstí bratří Synků station of the new metro line D.
