Annotation

This thesis presents the design of SmartHuba sustainable, multifunctional data center in Prague that integrates cutting-edge technological infrastructure with public spaces and blue-green systems. Based on analyses of the Bubeneč and Holešovice sitesconsidering spatial, regulatory, and energy parametersthe project employs a modular, terraced form that reconciles scale differences between urban blocks and post-industrial areas and steps in harmony with neighboring building heights. The building unites a server hall, coworking zones, student housing, fitness and commercial spaces, and underground parking around a central green atrium featuring a retention pond. By combining photovoltaic panels with energy recovered from the data center, SmartHub achieves full energy self-sufficiency, with surplus electricity used to illuminate public areas. Its flexible modular system and capacity to integrate a relocated rail station support transit-oriented development, offering a model of resilient, eco-responsible urban infrastructure.
