OFF - GRID TINY - HOUSE
Architecture and Urbanism, MA diploma project

Annotation
The diploma project deals with the design of a self-sufficient tiny house type building, intended for year-round living. The design is based on the concept of a compact residential unit with an emphasis on space saving, flexibility and independence from common engineering networks. The key element of the layout is the central residential core, which integrates technical and hygienic facilities and at the same time determines the organization of the entire space. This core is prescribed from the volume of the building to the exterior, where it forms a distinctive shape and material element that enriches the overall design of the facade. The building is designed as a wooden building with an emphasis on ecology and energy efficiency. The project also includes a design for a garden focused on food self-sufficiency.
