ADAPTIVE REUSE

The project transforms both the main building and the wider area of the former sugar refinery in Čakovice into an open cultural and social space. A contemporary insertion within the historic industrial structure creates a flexible environment, combining a gallery, café, and studios that can serve both public and private events. The design emphasizes preserving the site's atmosphere, functional integration with the surroundings, and the potential of the entire area to revive as a new local hub with significance beyond the district itself.
