Annotation

This project addresses the negative impacts of suburbanization and urban sprawlsuch as landscape loss, infrastructure strain, and environmental unsustainabilityby proposing an urban apartment building that combines the comfort of a family home with the benefits of city living. The design includes shared spaces like gardens, workshops, and community rooms to foster a sense of community and enhance quality of life without requiring further land consumption. The compact yet well-designed apartments provide ample light, privacy, and flexibility, catering to a diverse range of residentsfrom individuals to families. By utilizing existing urbanized sites (e.g., brownfields), the project helps preserve the landscape. Its higher housing density supports sustainable transport.. Located in Černošicea typical example of suburbanization near Praguethe project serves as a model for how growing housing demand can be met sustainably, without further urban sprawl. It offers a viable and environmentally responsible alternative to conventional suburban development, merging the advantages of individual housing with a socially and ecologically conscious urban approach.
