Office Building Předlice - 3

Administrative Building - 3 is part of an office building complex located in Předlice, serving as a landmark upon entering Ústí. The main focus of the project is a creative approach to the facade and the effort to achieve the slimmest possible outline, while still maintaining a scale appropriate to the surrounding area, which mainly consists of smaller buildings. The spine of the building serves a utility function for the two outer sections, which house the actual offices. The floorplan prioritizes modularity, allowing tenants to configure the space according to their specific needs. On the facade, a checkerboard pattern alternates between clear triple-glazing and photovoltaic triple-glazing with a grading density of PV cells. This pattern narrows and gets taller throughout the whole height of the building, maximizing the percieved height of the structure.
