Towers in Holešovice - between New York and San Gimignano

The bachelor's thesis elaborates an architectural study to the level of construction and building permit documentation. The subject of the design is a new student housing building located in PragueHolešovice. The proposed building is part of an urban concept that utilizes height dominants to improve legibility and orientation within the regularly structured area of Holešovice. The building is designed as a tower composed of a gradually receding mass. Its primary function is student accommodation, located in the tower portion. The project also includes a publicly accessible section with art studios and workshops.
