Monastery Vilémov

The bachelor thesis is based on a study that focuses on the revitalization of the former Baroque courtyard in Vilémov u Golčova Jeníkova. The aim of this work was to restore the monastic establishment that existed in the area in the past. The building is located in the south-west corner of the Baroque courtyard, completing its integrity and at the same time adding monumentality to it with its architectural design of facades made of exposed concrete with scattered openings. The building is sized for use by 18 monks and is built in a multi-level Raumplan system, with cascade terraces on the roof.
