Annotation
Social housing with access galleries is situated at the intersection of Dvořákova and Pražská streets in Písek. The building respects the urban context of the surroundings through its shape and function. A public square is located in front of the building, and behind the ground-floor passageway, there is a semi-private garden for residents. The building has four above-ground floors and one underground floor. The above-ground floors are connected by outdoor access galleries with stainless steel mesh railings, which support climbing greenery. The underground floor contains garages, storage rooms, and technical facilities. The ground floor includes two rentable spaces, a community center, a waste room, two bike and stroller storage rooms, and three apartments with terraces. he apartment building contains a total of 36 residential units. Each typical upper floor has 11 apartments: 5 studios (1+kk), 3 one-bedroom units (2+kk), 2 two-bedroom units (3+kk), and one communal five-bedroom unit (5+kk).
