NEW FACULTY OF ARCHITECTURE TU DRESDEN

The Faculty of Architecture at TU Dresden lost its presumed location in the Fritz-Föster building in the campus area, which instead became an administrative building. In the currently used office building (BZW) there are space constraints and new concepts for relocation is necessary. The faculty of architecture must also find an architectural expression within a college campus. The Faculty of Architecture, which once used to be one of the key institutions of the former Royal College of Polytechnics in Saxony, will be transferred back to the center of the campus. This task also offers the opportunity to turn the area near the main square in an attractive location.
