CULTURAL CENTER AND MUSEUM OF AUTOMOTIVE ENGINEERING: CONVERSION OF THE OLD BREWERY IN VYSOKÉ MÝTO

The topic of the thesis is the total revitalization of the old brewery in the town Vysoké Mýto as well as the appropriate use of its surrounding space . The elaborated study converts an attractive-looking brewery construction into new representative premises in the form of a cultural center covering the rich cultural and social life of the city sufficiently. The building of the cultural center was successfully linked to the bus production museum that reminds the centuries-old tradition of bus production in the region. Thanks to this study the valuable historical monument near the city center was reconstructed and reused deservedly.
