HOUSING IN PRAGUE

Many huge cities hesitate to talk or even solve one of the actual problems. It is a lack of financially available flats for living. That is why I decided to design a Rental building in a context of historical city centre for my Diploma thesis. There is a theoretical part but also I designed a building which is specified for students, graduated singles and young couples. My project makes a new public accessibility to the garden with a historical roman chapel that has been closed till today. It all is about well working residents community and interconnection with public activities. The shape of building is formed by three principles, first, filling the street line to the car street, second, respecting the specific urban structure around the roman chapel and hierarchization the public movements in a courtyard.
