NEW THERMALS IN KARLOVY VARY

The diploma thesis deals with the topic of a city baths for Karlovy Vary, Czech Republic, which comes from the initiative of city's architect as a reaction to current situation in the city. As a location for those baths I chose the existing Thermal Hotel's swimming pool, which is nowadays out of service. In the analytic part is researched the current building in detail, context of location and typology of baths service. The goal of the project was to create a new bath as reaction to new trends in spa industry, and requirements of current generation. Existing building change from service function of the pool to public baths and complement the pool with other spa functions.
