Restoration and Extension of Municipal House

The newly restored municipal house is situated in the middle of this small town in Central Bohemia. The building is partially preserved, yet its rearward wings are replaced by a new simple house for the municipal authority. In the old municipal house, there is a pub and other public areas for community life. The connection between the houses is mediated by a new vertical landmark - the municipal tower. The aim of the complex is to create a new wide range of functions, that are independent, yet their coexistence is essential for the functioning of the town.
