MENTAL HEALTH CENTER

The Mental Health Center is a both social and health care facility created as a result of the Reform of Psychiatric Care approved in 2013 by the Ministry of Health. The center provides both outpatient and field care based on a multidisciplinary approach to clients within the community. The subject of this diploma project is to design this typologically new program of a house on a sloping site in the eastern corner of Letenské sady. I design a house that opens up to the outside world as part of enlightenment and destigmatization, while creating safe environment for clients.
