PRAGUE 7, REGENERATION OF THE CITY "PAPÍRENSKÁ"

The thesis deals with the completion and development of a city block in Holešovice, Prague, on the border between Holešovice station and Bubny station. The central theme of the site are the historical building of the former paper mill, which are situated into original urban area. The aim of the thesis is to propose new purpose of buildings, their regeneration and connection to surrounding buildings. A part of the task is also final completion of an unfinished block of buildings and a design of a multifunctional area serving cultural, working and leisure use for local residents and other visitors.
