INTERNATIONAL EAST CARPATHIANS BIOSPHERE RESERVE OBSERVATORY

Diploma thesis solves problems of complex area of East Carphatians International Biosphere Reserve, lying within three nations. The area is home of Beach forests and one of the last fully functioning ecosystem in Europe. Area is also home of nearly vanished Ruthenian etnicum, which is a "nation without borders" and night sky of exceptional quality. Biospere reserve is damaged by inability of international cooperation and public unfamiliarity about existence of it's values. Thesis is finding the relationship between human and nature, his own identity and place in 21. century.
