Children Toy Design and Realization

Do you remember the toy of your childhood? So my bachelor thesis is about mine. It is historic hand-puppet with a plastic face and body made of fabric. This toy comes from 60'es from Hamiro's company. That puppet was designed by Marica Hybínová. It is really sad fact, that the old ones puppets are broken or destroyed and no new are longer in production, so I decided to redesign them. I created two new collections, first is very similar to the old one just with some changes on their faces and the second is a collection of puppets with glowing heads Basically, I inserted a light into their porcelain heads. Puppet is intended for the theatre games, but also for kids who are afraid to sleep in the dark alone.
