Annotation
Maternity centres, same as nurseries, schools or crematoriums bring specific typology for specific moment of a human lifetime. Place where children are born, place that is being left by more people than being entered, place that holds events such mundane yet extraordinary - such as birth giving. Seemingly uniting the contradictory. I attempted to design such maternity centre that would reflect on this ambivalence.
