PARDUBICE - CENTER - WEST

This thesis describes general situation of a big brownfield area in the center of Pardubice in terms of its function, evolution and future potencial. The area has been identified crucial for a future development of city's structure and effective operation. The proposal defines a systematization of a main frameworks of the city. The aim of this paper is to suggest possible urban progress towards "the city of short distances", sustainable mobility, and effective use of opportunities of the main station area.
