MATERNITY HOUSE LETNÁ

A task of a diploma project was a design of maternity centre in Prague, district of Letná. The design was preceded by design of typology, which does not exist in Czech republic, but on the other hand, it ranks among the favourite typology of medical maternity facilities abroad. Proposed maternity centre is devoted to women and motherhood, it is a place where natural birth takes a place. The task is to test typology as well as a chosen site situated up on a hill above Prague and on the edge of a park.
