This bachelor’s thesis focuses on designing a heat pump. The aim of my project was to offer an aesthetically and functionally universal solution, while fulfilling all necessary technical, economic, and manufacturing requirements for such a product. I found several weak points of current designs through thorough competition analysis and proposed adequate solutions. The result of my work is a heat pump product line consisting of two types of indoor and two types of outdoor units with the potential to be competitive and achieve market success.
