School winery below Reistna

The aim of the project is to design a new winery, which will serve as a model winery for Secondary wine school students in Valtice, but also to the public. The main functional content of the winery is collection, production and storage of wine, wine tasting, sales and the possibility of short-term accommodation. The horseshoe-shaped land in the Valtice hill below Reistna colonnade was chosen for the project development. The plot is situated in the middle of school vineyards, near the wine school and wine and cycling trails. The building shape corresponds to the landshape and takes advantage of hillside. Its frontage opens to the country, providing a unique view to the surroundings. The aim was to incorporate winery into the landscape of Lednice-Valtice Area so naturally that gaves the impression that it belongs there.
